Come strengthen your faith in love once again by watching the After movies finale. One of the strongest movies in the After franchise is definitely worth the wait and reaffirms our faith in love. Let us get indulged in the world of 'After Everything: The Final Chapter' and discuss it like filmoholics!

                                                 THEME


The movie takes off from where the story was left behind in After Ever Happy. Since that was the weakest part of the film series and was a huge let down for all the fans who were rooting for Hardin and Tessa, this part manages to satisfy our excitement after the previous debacle. According to me After We Collided > After Everything > After We Fell > After > After Ever Happy, this would be the order in which I rank the movies that I liked the most.


                                                 ACTING

Hero Fiennes Tiffin gives his best performance yet. This movie focuses more on Hardin Scott and his growth and the role of the protagonist is perfectly potrayed by him. Josephine Langford also does a really good job as Tessa Young, though she had only a brief appearance on screen she stills does a laudable job. The supporting actors were well casted as they enhance the feel of the movie. Mimi Keene as Natalie was just Wow! She stole the show and was the main highlight of the movie. She becomes our favourite character by showing such innocence and passion.


                                                  STORY

This romantic drama gives us all we wanted from the After film series. While all the other movies showed us the story of Hardin and Tessa as a couple, there is still a touch of emptiness in Hardin which is visible. This movie shows us his growth and journey through the Character of Natalie, a sin from his past. His character arc grows from there and towards the end we see him as a responsible father, a loving husband and a caring son. The final chapter gives the characters the ending they deserved while giving us a pinch of drama, chemistry and passion.



                        CINEMATOGRAPHY AND MUSIC


The DOP (Director Of Photography) has done an absolutely astonishing job with the Cinematography of this movie. Each frame of the movie is so visually brilliant that it takes the audience into the movie. The music also sets the vibe of the movie which makes the audience indulge in the world of After.



                                MOST IMPACTFUL SCENE

The scene that I loved the most is the wedding scene. This sequence shows us the chemistry of the lead actors that made us fall in love with the film series in the first place. The emotional depth and love appeal in the scene will definitely make your heart skip a beat if you have watched all the five movies of the franchise.


                                               VERDICT

I will give this movie 8/10. After Everything is the perfect finale to the story of Hardin and Tessa after they met each other. This romantic drama will take you to a dreamy world and reaffirm your belief in love.
