Hanuman Movie Review

                       ''SuperHero HanuMan''

Hanuman introduces us to the next big thing in Indian Cinema- PVCU (Prasanth Varma Cinematic Universe) that is rooted in Indian mythology. Let us dive into the Godly world of Hanuman!

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS SO READ IT ONLY ONCE YOU'VE WATCHED THE MOVIE.

                                             OPENING

The movie's opening literally blows the mind of the audiences. It starts off with the main superhero theme of the movie rooted in Indian history by showing us the story of the Indian God Hanuman which touches your heart while making you curious. The introduction to the world of Anjanadri is also superbly executed.

                                                ACTING

Teja Sajja does a good job as the protagonist of the movie. All the other actors do a fair job keeping in mind that most of them are new comers. Vinay Rai was well casted as the antagonist of the movie. Varalaxmi Sarathkumar, Satya and Vennela Kishore add good support to the movie. Samuthirakan as Vibhishan is the one who stole the show.

                                     VFX AND GRAPHICS

As this is a fictional movie based on a superhero theme, the movie relies majorly on visual effects. The team of Hanu-Man do a remarkable job in this department. From the start till the end of the movie, let it be the animation or any field related to graphics, the team does an incredible job with a budget less than 50 crores using only new talent.

                               WRITING AND DIRECTION

Prasanth Varma is an upcoming director who has the potential to be one of the top directors in the PAN Indian film industry. He is not scared to attempt to make movies with a fresh genre like Zombie Reddy and now HanuMan. His vision of making a superhero cinematic universe is what the Indian film industry needs right now to reach the next level. The writing of the movie is the major drawback as it does not sit well with the viewers. However his untapped potential is something to watch out for in the future!

                                 MY FAVOURITE SCENE

My favourite scene in the movie is the sequence of Hanumanthu getting his power. Right from the bandits fight to him getting the power of Lord Hanuman was just marvellous. The background score, emotional feel and vfx in the scene is top notch!

                                                MUSIC

I genuinely believe that music is one the biggest asset of a movie. Considering that this is a small budget film the music was good. Anjanadri theme is my favourite since the audio and video of it is the backbone of the movie according to me.

                                               VERDICT
I will rate this movie 7.5/10. This Indian SuperHeroic spectacle should be watched on the big screen with your entire family. Hats off to Prasanth Varma for giving an ode to Indian Gods by turning them into Superheroes. This movie will have humungous profits and sets up the stage for Jai Hanuman that will be a sure shot hit!
