''Enter the enthralling world of Bhakshak''

Uncover the hidden truths of India with the movie Bhakshak(Predator) inspired from true events. Let us dive into the world of Bhakshak and discuss it detail like true movie lovers!

THIS REVIEW CONTAINS SPOILERS SO READ IT ONLY ONCE YOU'VE WATCHED THE MOVIE. SKIP TO THE LAST PART IF YOU ONLY WANT THE VERDICT.

                                                ACTING

Bhumi Pednekar as Vaishali Singh does a really good job. She fits into the shoes of the character pretty well. Her overall acting versatility is great as transforming from the character of a hot girl in Thank You For Coming to becoming a small town middle class reporter in this movie is indeed a difficult job.Her monologue in the end was a nice touch. Sanjay Mishra lends good support but nothing special. Aditya Srivastav as Bansi Sahu was perfect. His evil nature and dominating character is well played. All the CID show fans will enjoy watching him again after a long time. The characters of Ssp.Jasmeet Kaur and Baby Rani were good and the supporting cast also does a fine job.

     STORY,SCREENPLAY,DIRECTION AND MUSIC

While the story of the movie was intriguing, it lags behind due to faulty screenplay and weak writing. The director is not able to catch the attention of the audiences which makes the movie pretty uninteresting to watch. The music also is a huge drawback of the movie as it does not enhance the feel of the way.

              MY FAVOURITE SCENE

The scene which impacted me the most is the opening scene of the movie. The laugh of the man, the cry of the girl, the mention of chilies, the murder and the threaten is haunting and gut wrenching. This disturbing scene requires guts to be watched.

                  PRODUCTION

A special mention to Red Chillies Entertainment for venturing into, supporting and always giving the viewers with fresh and interesting content like Ittefaq, Betaal, Badla, Bhakshak, Dear Zindagi and many others. Bhakshak is a story that deserves to be told to all the Indians.

                                        VERDICT

I will give this movie 6/10. Bhakshak is a drama film based on true events that uncovers the hidden truth behind the harsh realities of India. Despite having many drawbacks this would be a good OTT watch. Direct streaming on Netflix was a good call by the makers.
